I was born and raised in Boston, Massachusetts. I am a huge Red Sox fan, and I love dogs.
I graduated from the University of Massachusetts in Amherst with a Bachelor's Degree in English and Psychology. I received
a Master's Degree in Education Curriculum and Instruction from California State University. I worked for several
years as a technical writer in San Francisco before moving to Los Angeles and becoming a teacher.
Prior to teaching at Lawrence I taught for five years at an elementary school in South Los Angeles. I taught
grades one through five. When I am not working I enjoy traveling, running and yoga. I would like to one day become
a college professor, and write instructional guides for teaching.

Life is Good!
My husband and I love to travel when we have some free time. We enjoy
tropical weather, and hanging out on the beach. We are certified scuba divers so we usually travel to a place where
we can explore under the sea.
