Math Project #1
Due Monday September 12th, 2005
Students must create any type of  restaurant menu.  The menu must contain the name and prices for items of food.  The items must be categorized: Beverages, Entrees, Appetizers, etc... Students will create five seperate orders with total costs, sales tax, amount the customer paid and change.  They must create one order for a classmate to solve in class.  They must turn in the solution to their problem on a seperate page.
 
Math Project #2:
DUE OCTOBER 31, 2005
You will take a survey on any topic. For example your survey could be on what kind of video games, food or music do people like.  Using the results of the survey you must create a graph to represent the data.  Then you will write the results as a fraction, decimal and percent.  You must write a one page reflection describing the research process, stating your original hypothesis and whether or not it was correct.     
 
Math Project #3:
DUE April 28th, 2006
Temperature
You will create a weather map and convert the temperature from Celcius to Fahrenheit using an algebraic formula.
